Setting a hotlink¶
To set a hotlink attribute:
- Open the Documents view
- Select a feature using the Feature Selection tool
- The list of documents associated with this feature will be shown in the Documents view
- Select the hotlink document from the list
- Press the Edit... button, a dialog will be provided to input details
- Press the Commit button to write this change out as the hotlink is stored in the assigned attribute
Note: For Action hotlinks, the marker ‘{0}’ should be used in the action string for replacement with the attribute’s value.
A sample dataset is provided:
- Try out australia.shp
- File, Web and Action hotlinks are already defined
