Search:
- Create a New Map using the Map button)
- Switch to search tab and Search for 'bird'
- Drag and drag 'Canadian Important Birds' onto the screen from the WMS
(this is a GGDI search) - Search for 'radar' and right click add 'Radarsat_1000' to the
current Map
(this is a google search) - Search for 'landsat' and right click add 'Landsat 7 Orthorectified Imagery over Canada - band 743' to the current map
(google again) - Search for "wms" and click cancel in the local toolbar

Open Source GIS workflow:
- Switch to Catalog view and close all maps
- Use file new layer to get the the the PostGIS wizard
host www.refractions.net port 5432 username postgres password postgres database demo-bc schema public - Select bc_municipality (will show up unfilled)
- Edit and rollback
- choose the the select tool, click on a polygon
- choose the edit tool
- click near the polygon to add a new point
- hit rollback (confirm that the edits are removed)
- Edit and commit
- create a feature and commit
- hit commit, map refresh and change will show up in the WMS
- delete feature
- select your new polygon and delete it
Info Tool:
- Open up Map1
- Use info tool on WMS iba layer
- Test again included shapefiles
Included Data:
- Open up the included shapefiles
- Reproject to 3005 (out of range but what the heck)
Shapefile from internet:
- Open new Map
- Drag and drop lakes onto the map.
