JGrass is licensed completely under GPL, UDig is under LGPL.

This luckyly doesn't mean that we can't share the same space and thoughts and we will also be able to ship a UDig version containing also JGrass plugins as soon as they will exist

The thing to take into account is the fact that JGrass will not be able to fit into the SDK, since that one will ship as LGPL and ube used as such.

As soon as we finish the design phase and will be able to share some code , we will be allowed to use the UDig SVN.
The packages of JGrass will be probably kept in a packages that will start with eu.hydrologis.jgrass .

We like the idea that the plugins can be downloaded and updated using the update site.
