The Help view displays help related to using the the application. The User Guide is broken down into four main sections, described below.

Getting started

This section contains a quick start and several walkthroughs that introducing you to the application and showing how to work with a range of information services.

Concepts

High-Level description of geospatial ideas, concepts and standards. This section provides background information to understand what is going on.

Tasks

Task descriptions are step by step instructions for performing specific actions and tasks.

Reference

Reference for the uDig application describing wizards, views, and shortcuts.
