Adding the Eclipse Communication Framework to the uDig product.
Initial tests of IRC and XMPP capability are successful. I have contacted Richie Carmichael author of Geochat for ArcGIS desktop, to discuss interoperability between Geochat and GeoCommunication.
Next step is testing BitTorrent capability.
