Description
Transform Tool is the tool for transforming vector layers using several transformation methods (Projective, Affine, Similar, Rubber Sheeting). This tool can be found under Tools > Other > TransformTool in the main Workbench window. The possibility of raster rectification and other new functionality is currently work in progress that should be published soon after uDig 1.2 will to be released.
This plug-in was developed during Google Summer of Code 2006 (author Jan Jezek, mentor Jesse Eichar) . Plugin works with uDig RC13.
Core functionality is done inside GeoTools referencing module in org.geotools.referencing.operation.builder package.
Availability
- Download: net.refractions.udig.transformtool_1.1.0.jar
- Save in your udig plugins directory.
- Run uDig and you should find TransformTool on main bar that lets you initialized the dialog for specifying your transformation.
