These steps are used to generate an Export of the uDig application. This is usually performed from a branch as part of Making a Formal Release.
This page will eventually describe the process of creating an SDK for uDig.
- Open the udig.product
- Check that the application runs: 10 Running the Main Application
- The important part here is the steps for removing and adding rcp and rcp.nls from the product configuration
- Click the Eclipse Product export wizard link in the Export section
- change the Root Directory to udig
- Ensure that Synchronize before exporting IS checked
- Enter a directory or archive file.
- The standard format for archive files are: udig-X.X.X-X.zip
- For example: C:\udig-1.1-RC14.zip
- Please make sure Export for multiple platforms is checked
- Click the Next button
- Select the following available platforms:
- linux (gtk/x86)
- linux (gtk/x86_64)
- macosx (carbon/ppc)
- macosx (carbon/x86)
- win32( win32/x84)
- Press Finish
