Create a Directory for your uDig work

Start by creating a directory for all your udig work, I use the example of C:\java\udig below:

C:\> mkdir java
C:\> cd java
C:\java> mkdir udig
C:\java> cd udig

Checkout uDig

You can checkout udig trunk into a new directory as shown:

C:\java\udig> svn co http://svn.refractions.net/udig/udig/trunk trunk

Please Continue

This will take about 15-20 min, this will give us time to set up java and eclipse. So please proceed to the next section while you wait....

When your Check is Completed

After you are done the source code will be available in the newly created directory trunk:

C:\java\udig> cd trunk
C:\java\udig\trunk> dir
C:\java\udig\trunk>dir
Volume in drive C has no label.
 Volume Serial Number is 90E6-811A
